Shutting down the Dual Assessment Scheme, CBSE has brought a significant change in the Assessment Scheme to be followed in Class 9 current academic session, i.e., 2017-2018 onwards. The assessment, examination and report card patterns for class 9 students will be similar to that of class 10 Board students.
According to which the CBSE Class 9 report card will have scores of a single yearly term comprising aperiodic test, notebook, subject enrichment and annual examination. The co-scholastic grading will be on a five-point grading scale.
